Conducting Studio Zagreb presents an orchestral conducting masterclass in collaboration with the esteemed Maestro René Gulikers. Maestro Gulikers has developed his own methodical approach to teaching conducting to both beginners and advanced conducting students, adapting to each individual student’s needs, wherever they may be in their conducting journey.

We offer 120 mins of podium time per participant with the Conducting Studio Zagreb Orchestra, a professional video recording of the final concert, and receive feedback from industry professionals. Participants are welcome to use the video recording provided after the masterclasses has ended for their own purposes.

Orchestral leadership masterclass with mº aleksandar marković

July 23rd to July 28th 2026
Zagreb, Croatia

We offer you an opportunity to work on your skills under the mentorship of Maestro Marković in collaboration with the Conducting Studio Zagreb Orchestra. The masterclass will feature five days of orchestra rehearsals, as well as one-on-one lessons with Maestro. On the last day all participants will perform at the final concert. A professional, high-quality video recording is included in the price of the masterclass and participants are free to use it for their own purposes.

conducting masterclass with mº john landor

Conducting Studio Zagreb presents an orchestral conducting masterclass in collaboration with Maestro John Landor, a British conductor and founder of Landor Conducting Academy. Maestro Landor is a great proponent of Ilya Musin’s technique that offers a unique approach to gesture and communication with the orchestra.

The masterclass will feature an intensive five-day orchestra workshop in collaboration with the Conducting Studio Zagreb Orchestra, one-on-one lessons with Maestro Landor, and a final concert in which all participants will conduct. A professional, high-quality video recording is included in the price of the masterclass and participants are free to use it for their own purposes.

Conducting Studio Zagreb presents an orchestral conducting masterclass in collaboration with the esteemed Maestro René Gulikers, the founder of International Masterclass Conducting Technique. Maestro Gulikers has developed his own methodical approach to teaching conducting to both beginners and advanced conducting students alike, adapting to each individual students needs, wherever they may be in their conducting journey.

We want to offer you the opportunity to work on your skills in a friendly, but productive environment with Conducting Studio Zagreb Orchestra. We will have intensive five days of orchestra rehearsals, as well as one-on-one lessons with Maestro, and on Friday all participants will perform at the final concert. Maestro Gulikers can teach in English, German, or Dutch. The official language of the masterclass is English.

(We will provide the sheet music for Tarbuk's piece after a successful application.)

The full masterclass fee is 1700€ for early birds (those who submit their application before January 1st 2026) and 1900€ for later applicants. The fee is 300€ for passive participants. After submitting your application, you are required to pay a deposit of 200€ and submit proof of payment. Only after we have confirmed your application are you required to pay the rest of the fee. If your application is not successful, we will refund you the deposit in full.

Conducting Studio Zagreb presents an orchestral conducting masterclass in collaboration with the esteemed Maestro Aleksandar Marković. Maestro Marković is a widely renowned conductor, and this is a unique opportunity to work with him and learn from him as a mentor.

We offer you an opportunity to work on your skills in a friendly, but productive environment with the Conducting Studio Zagreb Orchestra. The masterclass will feature intensive five days of orchestra rehearsals, as well as one-on-one lessons with Maestro, and on the last day of the masterclass all participants will perform at the final concert. The official language of the masterclass is English, but Maestro can teach in English, German, or Croatian language.

L. van Beethoven: Symphony No. 4 u B-flat major, op. 60

F. Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 2 in f-minor, op. 21

G. Ligeti: Concert românesc

The masterclass fee for active participants is 2000€ for early birds (those who submit their application before May 1st 2026) and 2400€ for later applicants. After we approve your application, you are required to send the first payment (quarter of the total sum) to confirm your participation. It's possible to pay in 4 instalments, under the condition that the fee is paid in full before the beginning of the masterclass. For passive participants, the fee is 400€.
